Originally established within the CBD category, the company has expanded into broader functional wellness products including mushroom supplements, gummies, wellness powders and drinks.
Working closely with the Cannaray team, Alfresco focused on creating a refreshing, low-calorie sparkling drink that could deliver both great taste and functional benefits. The formulation combines Lion’s Mane mushroom extract, Magnesium, Ginseng and essential vitamins to support energy, focus and cognitive function, while remaining caffeine-free and free from added sugar or sweeteners.
From concept development through to scale-up and production, Alfresco helped translate Cannaray’s wellness vision into a commercially viable drink. Particular attention was given to ingredient compatibility, flavour balance, shelf stability and maintaining a clean, modern label that aligned with current wellness trends.
The result is Can O’Rays – described by Cannaray as “sunshine in a can” – a lightly sparkling functional drink
